Opinions needed on Ultimate VS Keyboard Stand

Hi Guys and girls

im after a NEW Keyboard Stand with Mic Boom Attachement, i did make a post on this quite a while back, im almost 6 foot 3 in height, so need a stand that is good because of this, i keep looking at this ULTIMATE V-STAND with 2 tiers and mic boom attachment, does it go quite high? anybody got any pictures of them onstage with it in use?
im using a Quiklok Z-72 at the moment, its really sturdy!
but i find it a nightmare when loading our truck at the end of the night as it doesnt pack down to a small size!
also, the mic attachment on it is useless and when you play the keyboards, you can hear the "banging of the keys" coming through the microphone! Aaarrgghhhhhh

oh yeah, and on the note of sturdiness, will it comfortably hold a ROLAND FANTOM X8 and YAMAHA MOTIF ES7 without any wobbling?
or will i be freaking out and worried that it may fall over?
if anyone has ANY pictures of this stand in action or any other help, that would help me a lot

MANY THANKS :-)

I have an Ultimate v-stand that I use for a Fantom X8 with a Virus Polar on a single tier about it. I am quite tall -- 2m -- and I stand up while playing, and the keyboard surface is very comfortable for me. So in terms of height, this thing is great. It is very sturdy also.

There are two issues with it, on stage. One is that if you have to move it after setting it up, the legs have a tendency to close -- come toward one another -- and this makes the stand much less stable. I have had stage hands move it before in this way, and when I see it afterwards, the legs are at say 45 degrees to one another instead of 90, as they are in the fully open position. There is a real danger of the whole thing falling down when this happens, so it's something to watch for. I've thought about getting some kind of bar or brace to lock the legs open, if only between when setting up and when the show begins. (When I say "legs" I'm talking about the two horizontal members that sit on the floor, not the diagonal vertical members that reach up to the keyboards.)

Another thing: it is a bit of a nuisance to attach the tiers, so it is tempting to leave them on when you transport the stand. But it doesn't fold up well with the tiers attached, so you are kind of forced to take them off.

All in all, I think it's a great stand, just a couple things to watch out for.
