Hey bro, a few more things before i get an instantaneous response from you.

Did you know you could load up almost all the sounds from the Roland XV-5080 module into your fantom ? there maybe be slight variation here n there but i freaking love it.

Because i love the XV series of module. nice and simple board.

Another thing is , you haven't mentioned that you use computer for sequencing ?

Brand new product and should have support for a good long while.

I'm just going to stick with the Fantom and the SRX-06 and see where it takes me..No computer needed nor wanted.
Calan,does the XA have the ability to have differing tempos in the same song?

yeah i think there is such a mode, i remember seeing in the manual. But i don't know how many changes of tempo you could make, will check out for you asap.

calan about the 5080 patches. I loaded them using the librarian but since I only have space for 256 user patches wasnt able to load them all. Is there a way to move them to my card bank after loading because if I recall correctly the librarian won't load direct to the card.

hey, i think you're limited to 256 patches only, but someone here did found a workaround, i think by loading them into seperate cards or something ? hoho, can't exactly remember how bro.

But do fiddle around with all the patches ( 1000+ ?) and pick 256, because i believe not all patches work/sound well on a fantom. a VERY VERY tiny percentage sounded weird?

I remember doing it one-by-one is way easier, auditioning 1 patch, then save it manually to the fantom. I am bad at finding a workaround where you could load up all patches instantly, i don't even think its possible. What Fantom u're using NB ?

Thx for the response. I have an Xa that I totally love. I figured it might not be possible to get them all. After playing with the patches I dont think I would need them all anyway. Besides when I start makin my own sounds im sure Ill need the extra space anyway.
