Roland SP 404

You cannot load the sample just like that, you need to "import" them. Check my tutorial out: http://rolandclan.info/en/documents/sp-404/.

but where exactly copy your wav's in ? just the roland folder ?

i have follow that process, cancel+resample than rec, but than giv he me still 'EMP' on my screen :s

As in this document, please "copy the files onto the root folder of the Compact Flash card". That is NOT the "roland" folder, the card root folder, i.e. open the card icon and copy the samples right there.

a little question, ...

SP 404

puch on pattern select, than bank C (CompactFlash Card),

dan you start record and pad 1 lights up, You push on pad 1
and record your own sample, also pad 2 and 3 and ...

when it's done, than i wanne play/switch with my samples,



push pattern select, and than pad 1 (that's beginning to play)
now i wanna play pad 2 after pad 1 when it's done,

(by patern select, bank A can you push pad 1, sample play's
and than you push pad 2 and "when pad 1 is done begins pad 2 to play")

THAT want i to do with my own samples (bank C)

When i push pattern select than pad 1 and than pad 2 stops patern 1
and begin pad 2 :s:s:s:s

i want that sow like bank A, when you push pad 1 and than pad 2,
begint pad 2 when pad 1 is done

why doesn't work that in bank C (with my samples) :s:s:s:s


can some one help me (sorry for my bad-english)
