Save a sample as a patch

Save a sample as a patch

I created a patch in Polyiblit vst played a note and saved as a wav. I then imported it to my Juno G, edited it, added an effect and saved as a patch on my memory card. All worked fine. I then went off to edit a song. When I came back to the patch, I can select it, but it doesn't play. Have I done something wrong?

From what I gather. The patch you save really just work as a pointer. It will only point to which samples to use and how to use them. You still have to have the sample loaded in memory to play the patch. So go to the sample edit screen, load the sample you created, then go to the patch and you should be able to play it.

Thanks, that does make sense, and I have moved foward with this as I can now load the sample and play it, but the patch (with associated effects) still can't be played. Any idea?

If you have loaded the sample and it still doesn't play, you need to ensure the patch is pointing to the proper sample. Go into patch edit and verify.
