Does anyone knwo where i can find sum tutorials for the X7?

I love this machine but it seems like it could do with an external VGA option its got so much potential.

Im getting back into playing i just want to start using sampler etc...i dont even know what arpeggio is!

Also i want to switch it off where when your playing sounds the sound cuts out when you hit a new key, i want it to stay liek piano where when you stirke new keys the previous sound still resonates then fades out......am i wording that right im not sure?

Also the sensitivity of the pads is too weird you cant get a rythem going, (this makes me wanna keep my MV8000) but im sure u can adjust this?

There are currently two DVD tutorials for the Fantom X. One from proaudiodvds.com ($29.95 last time I checked), and another from Sudosonic ($49.95)

I also recommend Rolands PDF tutorials. Although not video format, they are well worth reading.

Youtube has quite a few Fantom videos, most of them are more entertaining than educational, though.

You can adjust the velocity of all the pads to a pre-set level so they ignore how hard you hit them, this makes it easier to use as a drum machine but is not ideal. Not sure about sensitivity but I'm having the same issue- it's generally easier to lay down a drum beat using the keys. I prefer the pads on the Oasys

If you want your sound to "sustain" when you hit a key the best thing to do is grab a damper or hold pedal. I went for the Roland DP-10 (£25) which you simply just plug in and hold down with your foot for sustain or let go to release.

thnks but there must be a way to let the sound ring by setting functions somehwere?

when using piano its fine and if you strike another note the prevoious sound stays but if im playing violin for eg, then when i strike a new key the other sound cuts off....
