Thanks for the reply. I would imagine there are some differences at the main board and not just a different screen. I have the VGA board.

I had a stall with the OS update and the MV just boots to a green display regardless of what key presses are used at startup. Holding Disk/USB and Instruments does not go to the CD update menu. The display remains green....

Is it possible to swap the MV-8000 screen with the color one from the MV-8800 ? The screen is fine it would just be nice to have the color. I saw some Fantom replacements online but no MV88s. I wouldn't be surprised if i...
