Doesn't matter what I power my jp with, if I turn the volume knob at the back up full the asio is overloaded and cuts out.

Yes I finally found the answer in the FAQ on roland.com http://www.roland.com/support/by_product/jp-08/support_documents/351364 Roland UK doesn't have this on their site.
