Create the Midi channels in a studio set to what you want to receive on. Each channel can be set to a midi channel.

Yes, I have had a similar problem. You do have to turn off the Mic in the Audio In on other Studio sets or use a Mic with a switch as I did

Still doesn't save line in volume setting so I have to set it again after power up.

Yes that's where it is set but can't find a way save it in a studio set or save it after power down

I've been using one of the studio sets with a mic connected for the vocoder. However when I turn off and on the line in volume setting is lost and is zero on power up. Is there a way to save it? Thanks
