cant get the midi lights to light the usb works lights up red ....put the midi into my Kurzweil out to in and in to out no lights what up?

I have windows 8.1 downloaded the driver for the UM-mk2 when installing it...It asks me to put the Um-mk2's USB into the labtop to finish install but its taking forever... so I uninstalled it and did it again, same probl...

yes "fill ins" like a drum machine can have a pedal for pattern choice and fill ins also Id rather use a pedal for rotor like I do on my nord
