Exactly, a 3 band parametric EQ per track is great, even when using excellent sounds.

IMHO an EQ for each sound or track is very easy and usefull. Often a sound is okay but in the mix or as a layer it could use EQ.

I faced following problems: For example I sampled: E4 - fast leslie - Playing B4 --> the leslie will sound faster - Playing E4 & B4 --> "leslies" have different speeds and aren't sychronius So sample "nearly" each note?...

I use the Boss SE50 too, it's midi controlled so the leslie (speed up/down) is synchronised for several synths. I also have a dynacord cls 222. Old but good...
