Does the Fantom sustain support half pedal?

Yes, it is supported. Connect a Roland DP-10 to the hold pedal input, switch the DP-10 to continuous mode, and enable Continuous Hold Pedal mode in the system settings.

So does this mean that it won't do continuous with a generic pedal, it must be the DP-10?

I took a look a the Roland DP 10 and can see that it's a TRS plug where all my generics are just TS, so that may be the thing. I bought the branded Korg and Yamaha pedals for the Kronos and Montage for the same reason. After playing on those two, it feels weird playing on the Fantom without half pedal on sustain, so it's a worthwhile investment.

Just got the DP-10 and I have to say I really like the thing they did with the rubber pad. Flipped the appropriate switches and life is now much better.
