Roland G-1000, stuck on loading screen!

Greetings,

Does anyone know how to fix a Roland G-1000 arranger that when you turn on it's stuck on the loading screen? Would a keyboard reset fix it, or is there something else entirely wrong with it?

it could be a memory issue. is there a memory module under the unit?
