Changing the recording time signature

Changing the recording time signature

I've noticed that on scenes where I've recorded patterns, the time signature is disabled. I can't find any reference to this in the manual.

My working theory is that once it has patterns you can no longer change the time signature that you record in. Is this correct?

You are steadily finding all the little glitches...

That's the fun of new gear. You find out what's cool, find the glitches (all gear has glitches), figure out the workarounds, and then you can be creative with a minimum of surprises. 😀

Then you discover a great DAW, set your own collection of scripts with the help of AI to add to the effects chain and suddenly find yourself having no barriers, no glitches, no need to go circumnavigating issues to achive goals, just music making.

Click, click and click.
No menus, submenus, no ditching, no maker-way, no proprietary connectors, just tracks to play.

Anyway, let me talk about a great feature I discovered by mere
chance...

Say you press pad 1 and let it go.
The note will sound and fade.
Now you press pad 2 and HOLD button and the note will hold.

And now my surprise: press pad 3 and HOLD.
Pad 2 and 3 will remain sounding. Yes, pad 2 keeps HOLD and pad 3 enters HOLD.

Now press pad 4 and pad 2: pad 4 will sound and fade and pad 2 will be released from the HOLD condition it was on and allowed to fade while pad 3 will still be on HOLD.

And now pad 3 can be released by either pressing it or the HOLD button.
