I do use a pen with my Fantom, and because of that, I can not recommend one. However, I have a universal pen, I have tested it, and it works fine on the big Fantom (which has a slightly larger screen). The specific model is CellularLine Sensible Pen Universal, however, I guess any universal smart phone should work.
Yes, that's what I originally thought. I have tried at least 3 or 4 pens that are suitable for capacitive touchscreens. Without success.
In fact, there seem to be differences between the displays of the "big" Fantom and the Fantom-0 on this point. I have a pen here that works on a friend's Fantom-6, but not on the Fantom-0. Very strange. Actually, I would use the pen only when I want to do something in the piano-roll editor.
