RD2000 - V Piano and Supernatural Piano
To compensate for the low output volume of the keyboard at the XLR and unbalanced outputs.

The input gain of the equaliser boosts the volume of the entire Zone by upto 15db. Note that a 10 db boost doubles the volume.

Equalisation
To compensate for the generally dullish sounds of Roland pianos.

1 Use the ZONE EFFECTS [SELECT] button to select “EQ.”
2 Press the [EQ ON] button to make it light.
3 Turn the knobs to adjust the levels in each range.

To brighten pianos - equaliser - V Piano - stage piano S0001 program example
Boost treble by up to 8db 2000hz up
Boost bass by 3 db 200 hz down
Cut mid by 3db
Tip. If you use Strings on zone 2. Turn off damper for zone 2
You can layer in zone 3 a supernatural piano which increases richness of the piano.

Next go to tone designer/piano designer.
For bright pianos set tone adjust to 127
Open the lid to max
Increase string resonance and duplex scale.

You can also play with reverb and delay.

Write the updated program in an init slot with an updated name.

Ive compared the result to pianoteq another modelled piano and the RD is far superior in my opinion.
