What is everyone's best/favorite piano patch in the new Fantom?

The one that sounds most like a real concert grand piano.

None.
For me, mostly all tones are just a point to start with.
It might be the attack, the release, the effect....

I made a scene with 16 zones and 64 tones that sounds like the piano I wanted. Not all partials are just piano waves but a terrific mixture of many waves, and pitches and
volumes, velocities and everything...and the result is pretty much like the Steinways I love my best.

Same goes for pipe organs: I use four zones to get a pipe organ that sounds even better than the one at the cathedral next door...!!!!

The only tones I found not needing any adjustments are just the strings. Just need to choose if tremolo or pizzicato...or...

I like "Roppongi Piano" with these settings for anything except Classical.
It's a humble Z Core sound from one of the expansion packs.

I got my Roland Fantom 6 for about a week. Am I right that you can NOT adjust A, D, S, R with V-Pianos inside the Roland Fantom. If it is so. It is very sad. I like to adjust the Release of a Piano Sound without to use a Pedal.

Is there a way to adjust the Release of a V-Piano Sound?

Even going via Zone OFFSET will not work, as you probably have already noticed.

Garritan CFX and Pianoteq 7 meet all of my needs. I don't even use the Roland pianos anymore. Pianoteq 7 is a huge improvement over 6. Garritan CFX is worth every penny. If I had to pick one, I would choose Garritan. In either case, playing while listening to them just makes me want to keep playing and listening to the amazing sound. I never feel that way with the V piano or any of the other Roland pianos. Pianoteq 7 is free to try, and the cheapest version is enough for many people. I usually use headphones. The Garritan not only recorded the piano, but also the room, so it sounds like you are in the best room on the planet playing the best piano.

Are you using a $3600 keyboard workstation as a controller for those?

Most probably...
And the steps might have been as follows:

You want a keyboard...
You buy the very best...

You see software you turn interested in...
You buy the very best...

You then use both.

I am using a Fantom 8. The feel is great, combined with the great sound from the mentioned software. I have a very quiet mini PC that is USB connected to the Fantom. The Fantom sends my keypresses via MIDI to the PC, and the software sends USB audio back to the Fantom. Then I use the Fantom's audio jacks (headphones quite often) to listen to it.

Correct, but you missed a couple of steps that happened during and after. :-) I found that I wanted a second keyboard with synth action, so I also bought an Arturia Keylab 61 MKII in combination with Arturia V Collection to get all the vintage synths (especially the DX7). So now I am completely happy with great piano via the Fantom 8 and software, and synth with the Fantom 8 and Arturia stuff. Combined, all this stuff meets my needs.

I can hardly believe you are not adding a Montage any time soon...

For what? I am not sure what I am missing without a Montage.
