Wavetables and Wavesequence with Fantom
25 Jan 2021, 06:37After the experience with Yamaha Montage and MODX, I tried to implement Wavetables and Wavesequence synthesis also in the Roland Fantom.
Waiting to publish a more detailed article with tables and examples (scenes, tones and samples), if you are curious to hear Fantom singing-reciting the words "Fantom" and "Synthesizer" and performing a Wavesequence in perfect sync, here is the link!
The technique can also be implemented inside other ZEN-Core synths, Jupiter-X XM and AX Edge first of all with the limit of not being able to use user samples.
Maybe Roland sooner or later implements a nice Model Expansion with such syntheses ... in the meantime who does it by himself ... makes for three
Here on my web site along with a video

The next step is to implement the classic Wavesequence of preset N.1 by Korg Wavestation (SKI JAM) and the creation of some "serum" tone with some Wavetables built ad hoc
