Audio files on pads: sustain sound when switching pads?
24 Jan 2019, 15:29I want to have a series of chimes and bells, each sound triggered by a phrase pad. Is there any way for one to audibly decay as I trigger another, rather than the first sound cut off abruptly? (I think not, since manual says "Two or more audio files can't be played simultaneously.")
I suppose the only way to do this is to upgrade to Juno OS 2.0 and do it this way:
Transmit MIDI notes with Phrase Pads—This gives you the ability to play sounds on an external MIDI device using the pads on the JUNO-DS61 and JUNO-DS88.
Hmm, actually does this feature allow for doing the same with internal sounds (ie one (sample-based) patch in a performance)? That would solve it.
