Has anyone tried using the RD-2000 for looping?

Has anyone tried using the RD-2000 for looping?

I've been using the record features and then Play All with only that sound on the usb key.

It works okay, but the three problems I've had are

1) Play One needs to be changed to Play All every time (which is hard to do in real-time while looping) -- can this be made default?,

2) there is a slight click when the new loop plays in the RD-2000 (but in this example with the RD-800 I don't hear it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TdzHh8sRaxo)

3) the timing is so hard to get right -- any advice? I have extra pedals I can assign to the Stop button which might help...

I know this is an old post, but I just delved deep enough to find this. I use a Boss RC-5 loop pedal. I use it for live looping as I play solo gigs. I'm not accomplished enough to play a solo while keeping the music going. I think it works great. It's simple enough to use. It also has built in drum tracks (though I don't use them). Looping does take a bit of practice to get it right. I also have another RC-5 that I record drum tracks on and connect the two of them via the MIDI in/outputs. It helps to sync the loop with the drum track.
