Exact default/neutral filter offsets value

Hi pals,

Some months ago I made an user panel for controlling the filter cutoff offset and resonance via CC's in cubase as some of you already know. I assumed the neutral/default/center value (ie; no change, offset not applied at all) was 64, but I always wondered if it was correct, might it be 63?

Any information welcome!

Yes, 64 is the default/neutral value for CC's 71-78.

As a general rule, the default/neutral or "reset" values in MIDI are either 0 or 64. The exceptions are Expression CC 11 (which uses 127) and Volume CC 7 (which can be either 100 or 127.)

By the way, Pitch Bend uses both 64 and 0 for its center value. (64 is the first data byte and 0 is the second.)
