The sound of the Vintagevibe E-Piano in this video is indeed very similar to the sound of my original Fender Rhodes 73 Mark-I from the good old seventies!

I didn't know this company exist, but I already knew this company using the Rhodes name, which builds the Rhodes Mark-7 today:

That company making the Rhodes Mark VII seems to be dead in the water. They made a last ditch effort to turn it into a pure midi controller but none of their products seemed to make it past 2009.

The VV has been getting rave reviews and weigh in around 50 lbs. I ordered the 64 with active stereo. They also have a 44 and 73.

True indeed, as the "Vintage Vibe" Rhodes clone seems to have a much better, lighter and nicer design, than the clumsy and ugly Mark-7...and it sounds awesome!

PS: I just saw the Vintage Vibe E-Piano offers a MIDI option too, but this option is quite expensive: $1495

I wouldn't add MIDI anyway. Keep it pure and grab a midi controller if you need one. I would never turn my Shigeru into a midi controller either.

Yes, these guys seem to have designed the perfect modern Rhodes.

Toying with the idea of an Integra-7 to go along with the Jupiter80. I'd have to sell my V-Synth GT to get it, but after a lot of hours behind it, I'm just not clicking with it. Sad, as I can see it's great synth. It's just not my cup of tea. I adore the Jupiter-80 OTOH.

So, a Jupiter-80 and an Integra-7 in one rig. Too much of one synth engine, or a splendid combination?
Ah I think we already know the answer to that one! Did you order your I-7 yet Scott?
