we are back at ONE FX per part if I read the specs correctly. So, we can again start to discuss how to create a organ with rotary and overdrive...
Interestingly, that does seem to have been somehow addressed. Check the demo page at
http://www.roland.com/video/page.cfm?id=266863930002
and listen to the one labelled "C3 Rock 3 [#0061]" -- it has rotary and overdrive.
Yes. It's the old Roland trick where they sample an organ with overdrive to overcome the problem with the restricted effect structure.
Actually, they
do support simultaneous rotary and overdrive effect in the Integra-7, even though there is only one effect per channel... because some of the single effects you can select are, themselves, combinations of multiple effects. And in fact "Rotary 3" is a combination of an overdrive effect feeding into a rotary effect, so this has been addressed. Since "C3 Rock 3 [#0061]" is a SN organ tone, that's presumably how it was done.

Why use SRX for pianos when there is supernatural onboard? Ect. IMO the inclusion of the SRX library was a consolation prize for shelling out $2000 for integra.
Well, I think it's a bit more useful than that. There are a good number of SRX sounds that don't really have SN equivalents yet. So if you need, for example, some old vintage keys sound that doesn't exist in a Jupiter 80, you may be able to find it by loading the SRX-07 bank. Same with some of the orchestral sounds, missing in SN form, but available in SRX. So I think there are still a number of really useful SRX banks. But I also agree, few people will likely need to load either of the two SRX piano cards or the SRX EP card, for example, when the SN pianos and EPs are generally superior.
