GAIA turns off the sound of the computer

So, I´ve just installed the driver to be able to connect my GAIA SH-01 via USB to my iMac for
MIDI-purposes. But when I turn on the GAIA the sound on my computer turns off :/

Not all of it thou, I can still use my DAW (ableton live) but I can´t listen to music on spotify or
youtube.. But as soon as I turn it off the sound comes back again.

What´s wrong? Oh, and I´m not a talented computer-guy so please be clear if you have any
possible solutions :)

One of the Gaia’s features is that it has a built-in sound card, and sounds like the Mac starts to output the sound through the Gaia once it’s turned on. I don’t have a Mac to look it up here at home, but you should be able to select in the system preferences which output it should use.
