adding power on patches

is there any trick for adding power on gaia's patches ?
manual page 38 and 45 says something about it

Try using the 'Pitch Shifter', that can add a little extra amount of volume.

Try 2 oscillators similar in design and pan one to the left and the other to the right. Add a third copy middle panned.

Detune each oscillator as well.
