Crystal Method contest few days left -Please, vote!
23 Sep 2009, 16:30Hey there! This is Vlada! I have something very important to tell you and ask you to do:
Astral is keyboard-oriented metal band participating in remix contest featured by The Crystal Method. We were asked to remix one of their songs “Come Back Clean” from the “Divided by Night” album. We had 4 weeks and were working from sun set to sun rise (literally) to produce it on time and have something meaningful recorded. The main sounds in arrangement are from Fantom G, Motif XS with expansion libraries. The first vocoder is from Motif, the choir effect made with V-Synth GT. You will also find some Novation and Access Virus sounds in the mix.
Now is the voting phase, contest will be open to vote till September 28th. We are holding up in top 20 out of 400 submissions from around the world, and we need your support. Please vote for us! When you vote, it will ask you for e-mail address. Confirmation e-mail will be sent to your account; you will have to follow the link to confirm your vote. This site is safe; there will be no spam, unwanted promotional activity or junk mail. You can listen about 400 different mixes, vote for those you like, learn techniques, use on- line recording console to create your recording sessions, interact with other musicians, create “long distance” projects and enter contests. Please, check out our trance/electronica Crystal Method remix and vote for Astral, to help us to get heard. Thank you so much for your support!
