- Turn on TX Edit Data in the System/MIDI settings
- Start recording a new phrase
- Turn on the keyboard switch on the part you want
- Now assign the recorded phase to a pad via RPS
- Set D-Beam to pad trigger, and pad number to the pad you've assigned the phrase to
