Considering coming back to the Fantom!

Considering coming back to the Fantom!

Okay so...do to some various circumstances, and not doing music for a while, I got rid of mostly all of my hardware.

Only thing I have left is my mpc 4000, meaning I no longer have my fantom.

I have been lately getting back into the music and using software, which I will admit, is definitely better than when I tried it years ago.

Thing is, I'm still thinking of getting back into the Fantom, the G just looks like it would be DOPE for my workflow.

I just want to know how the computer integration is. I see I can load a vst editor, but can it stream audio from the Fantom or only to it?

I've looked on the site and it doesn't say specifically, it talks about streaming audio from a daw, but not to it.

Let me know...

Yes, you can stream audio via USB both to and from your computer.

hey Artemiy! It's been a while man, good to see ya still at it.

So I CAN stream audio to and from the fantom, man that is GREAT news, I've been looking for a piece of hardware that can do that.

What are the specs on that option, how many tracks/channels can I stream at once?

Does it stream a copy of what's going through the main outs or is it something different?

Hmm...let me go look for the manual.

Thanks man!

You get individual outs for each part and the effects bus + the input channels....... and before your jaw drops to the floor....... I am just kidding..

Fantom-G streams copy of main outs L/R and you can route input into computer via USB. So, it's 2 in / 2 out USB audio + 1 MIDI in/out.
