Hello Fantomites,

Got off of work this evening fired up the ole' fantom and discovered one key is not playing...Bummer!!! Does anyone have any ideas what could be going on? I did the factory reset thing and its still a no go! Hopefully AMS or Roland will take care of it in a timely manner. Anyone else having this problem? Purchase 8 April 04.

Make sure that RPS is not turned on, though a factory reset would have cleared this.

Also ensure that your USER 001 patch isn't a custom patch with a sample assigned to the key that isn't working. Again, a factory reset would have cleared this as well.

Not sure what could have caused this but it sounds like a defect. :-(

Hey Nathan,

I contacted the online retailer "American Musical Supply" where I purchased my sick Fantom from, to make a long story short...my new Fantom is on the way!!! Talk about customer service...It should arrive this saturday. Wow, only down for 3 dayz.
