Ok, here is my dilema. I want to use a lap top loaded with instrument software packages with my S88.
What do I need to purchase and how does this work?

Basically, you only need a USB/MIDI interface and cable.

From there, you're pretty much ready to go. Take your pick of 'softsynth' and VST host, or DAW, and you'll be playing virtual instruments rather easily.

Edirol UM-1EX is all you need.

Thanks to both of you. That's one of the problems us analog guys have. We think there is more to something than there really is!
