I have an Edirol FA-101 Firewire audio interface that worked fine with Vista but not with Windows 7 RC. Edirol has a Vista ASIO driver and they are supposed to work fine with Windows 7 according to Microsoft. Edirol support is no help because they said they will not do any work for Windows 7 until it is officially released. The driver shows up in the device manager with yellow caution symbols indicating a compatibility problem. If I try to uninstall and reinstall the Edirol installer indicates it is not compatible with that version of Windows. Any of you using Windows 7 RC and been able to work around problems like this?

Isn't there supposed to be like a Windows XP compatibility mode in Windows 7? Probably won't work for basic drivers though, but it might be worth exploring.
