Looping a WAV-file

Looping a WAV-file

23 Dec 2008, 04:02
Dear users,

Some WAV-samples in the CLAN-archives are perfectly looped and my JUNO-G can handle these files as designed.
But if I try to make one out of a WAV-file (fwd loop with FMJ-software AWAVE studio) it still doesn't sound looped on my JUNO-G but plays the sample one-shot instead.

What's the trick ?

Is a special format WAV-file required by Roland ?

What are the Roland WAV-files specifications ?

With what program can I loop a WAV-file in order a Roland JUNO-G will know what do with it ?

Best regards,
Adje.

Just go to the Sample Parameter screen and set the loop mode to FWD.

Thanks, and...

Hi Artemiy,

Thanks, and I assume you meant the screen in the JUNO-G...
anyway I'll will give it a try although it doesn't explain what exactly it is for a JUNO-G to handle looped WAV-files only when this parameter is set within the Roland product itself.

It seems setting this parameter (FWD) in additional software will have no effect on the JUNO-G.

Am I right ?

Best regards,
Adje.

Yep, that's it.

Dear Artemiy,

Although I don't understand the technical logic, it worked.

Thanks a lot.

Best regards,
Adje.
