problems with juno-g flash card

all of a sudden, all of the folders under card:/roland:/ disappeared. the "seq" folder is gone and so are all of the songs that were in it. the onboard user folders are there.
i connected a pc and looked at the card - same story. in fact, only the temporary .wav files are there, directly in the card/roland root.
looks like something is corrupted and these folders and files are invisible, because, all of the visible data combines for 110mb, but the card shows that 272mb are used.
has anyone come across this crap?
if this is something that i have to get used to... hello, daw?
