MV-8800 or MPC 5000, seriously what should i get?
4 Nov 2008, 19:59I wanna buy my first music workstation....
back in 2003 i was dead set on getting the MV 8000 until a few mishaps.
Now that am ready, am in a state of confusion as no one seems to be able to provide a straightforward or unbiased answer/argument.
seen various youtube video examples of both, they both seem pretty decent, the issue i have is that my heart is with the MV 8800 my mind is wit the MPC 5000...mainly because from the videos i have seen i have not come across some hardcore/hip hop/Rap beats made with the MV 8800, whilst i have with MPC from different versions.
But the vote of confidence swings more towards the MV 8800 still, while the market suggests MPC 5000. Hence i need some real expert advice before wasting my money...as it is a drag paying so much for the Demo versions to try out for 7 days of which i am not sure i would know if i like it or not within the set period.
your comments will be appreciated, safe!
