convert 1.0 v-synth patches to 2.0

Hi guys, did a search but didn't find the answer initially, maybe y'all can help.

I discovered a bunch of sets of patches roland put out for the v-synth 1.0

however, i upgraded mine to 2.0
will i be able to load these patches?
how could I convert them?

Yes, version 2.0 can load projects made by version 1.0.

A V-Synth v2 can't load v1 projects if those projects rely on the system sample set of the v1.

You are correct, forgot to add this. Let me be more specific:

- V-Synth 2.0 can load V-Synth 1.0 projects if they use either custom sampled waveforms and/or VA waveforms
- V-Synth 2.0 can NOT load V-Synth 1.0 projects if they use the ROM sampled waveforms
