TMP Audio Import Folder

TMP Audio Import Folder

Should i delete all my samples in the TMP Audio Import folder after i have imported them into my Fantom, marked and saved them - so as to save card space. I'm using a 512mb compactflash card as 1GB did not work, it never recognised the CF card at all.

As once the samples have been saved permanently [write samples] they are stored in the Roland SMPL folder.

Hello hoodedclaw,

Yes, you can and should delete the samples from the TMP/Audio Import folder once you have imported and saved (written) them. Otherwise, you have two copies of the same sample stored, one in the TMP folder and one in the SMPL folder. Why waste valuable storage space?
