SPD-6

Ok... So I’m definitely going to buy me one of these because it’s simple and that’s how I keep my stuff. Well the question is what type of pedals can be hooked up to it? I know it has two inputs for pedals but which are compatible? I want to use both inputs one for a hi hat and another for a kick. Can you guys please name me a few (preferably cheap ) for both hi hat and kick drum? Thanks a lot.

I’ve been looking around and there are so many different types of triggers but I just want to know what to look for and not waste my time.
According to the specs, you can use pedal models DP-2 or FS-5U. DP-2 is a usual "hold" switch-type pedal in fact.
what does a "hold" switch-type pedal do? the DP-2 is a damper pedal but i have no clue what that means...???

Also the FS-5U (silver) is a momentary "unlatch"-type footswitch, and the FS-5L (black) is a latch-type footswitch with an LED to indicate status.

that came from the Roland site and I have no clue what that means??

I'm just looking for two basic pedals. Can the DP-2 serve as my hi hat while the FS-FU or the FS-5L work as my kick drum?? THanks a lot for your reply Artemio
Ok. So, I'm thinking the FS-5L is probably what I'm looking for my kick drum footswitch.

Is that damper pedal good for a hi hat open and close?? anyone have any experience??
As I understand, a latch type foot switch is not usable for triggering sounds.
Oh Ok I get it yeah an unlatching pedal only works for like a sec or whatever and then automatically stops. Just like a kick drum.. Ok lol

Now do you have any knowledge about the Damper Pedal? I'm thinking it's kinda like a sustain pedal...which I would buy just go give it a try. since they are not expensive.
DP-2 or an equivalent is what you basically need. But there might also be pedals that look like real kick drum triggers, like those for V-Drums kits, although I am not sure if they are meant to work with SPD-6 (check the manual).
