Does anyone think that Roland might release an actual VSTi?

Just wondering. I wish that they would release VST versions of some of their classic synths -- from the 909 to the JP8000.

It wouldn't be hard for them to do, and they would probably capitalize on folks like me who love using name-brand synths.

Ive used demos of the nepheton, drumazon, and phoscyon.

They really are all super beasts... IMO (since I have tons of samples the 808 and 909, the phoscyon seems like a great purchase) and it was super fun to use.

Need to update my comp before I invest in it though (new sound card and ram).

Need to try out that Jupiter, see how it sounds...

Yes, I love the way that the Drumazon sounds too. I downloaded the demo, and I loved it. I love the way that you can really get in there to create your own kick and snare sounds in particular. It is pretty bad-ass!

I will consider purchasing this if it will work with the Muse Research Receptor. I might get it anyway, because if it is one of two or three plugins that I need to run on the Mac, then I can live with that. I did notice that this plug in is pretty processor intensive -- I believe that it was sucking up about 25 or 30 percent of my Core 2 Duo's processor output, and this is with the 2.33 GHz chip. Pretty great sounds though, so like I say, it is probably worth it.
