ok, i have took some resampled waves off the keyboard to my computer, i've loaded them in soundforge and i wanna know when i normalize it what is best to do, music -16db, speech -10db or very loud -6db

I would think the -6db would be your best signal to noise ratio setting because you can always turn the volume down once the sample is playing back from the sampler...If you use one of the other options and the volume needs turned up louder and you turn it up, not only do you get more of the sample sound but also more hiss with it.....
