Loading Sounds into the XR

Trying to load the XV5080 sounds into the XR but it doesn't seem to be happening, I reckon i've missed something simple, what do you think?

Connections

XR connected to PC via USB
XR System USB settings, USB Mode = MIDI
Librarian MIDI Devices = Roland Fantom-X

Librarian

Drag and Drop .FXL file, creates other window showing XV patch names
Highlight the first 256 XV patches and click COPY
Highlight 256 patches in Main Window and click REPLACE
Click WRITE ALL, status bar appears showing librarian sending all data to XR

It all seems fine and the patch transfer looks to be succesful but I am unable to see the new XV patches in the XR within the USR bank

I am new to the world of Fantom so I know I won't be able to help, but I thought that the Fantoms came with ALL the presets from the XV series of sound modules. Is that not correct?

which OS version do you have?
In version 1, you have to set the XR into librarian mode. It is automatic with version 2.
Midi light at XR should blink all the time while writing patches to user bank .. othewise it won;t work.
In librarian, test write with one patch.

I made this work some months ago on my XR, and it worked..But I don't remember how..

Try to move only 1 patch..

I don't think the XV patches are bundled with the XR by default.
