RC50 doesn't sync in midi as a slave

I've tried to sync my rc50 as a slave with other midi devices, but it seems that the device doesn't receive proper clock signal and after few seconds gets out of sync. This happens when midi is set to "AUTO". Has anybody a solution for this issue?

Hi,
This is a known issue. The problem is that the rc-50 requires a midi start message before it will sync to midi clock. There's no software fix available for this at the moment although a lot of people have complained about it. Boss knows about the issue but me and others have been told it's not going to be fixed...........
