ANY OS/PATCH UPGRADES NEEDED BEYOND 2.10?
16 Oct 2006, 16:11Hello Everyone!
A quick newbee question for experienced users out there . . .
After many frustrating weeks of waiting (not to mention a few earthquakes!), we finally received our new X8 pre-equipped with Audio Track Expansion and OS version 2.10. In addition, we have four (4) new SRX boards sitting here that we're anxious to install (i.e., SRX-06, 07, 09, and 11).
But my question is this . . . . before beginning to load the SRX boards or doing any other major improvements like establishing the USB connectivity, etc., do we need any additional upgrades to the OS (i.e., 2.11?), additional patches or other updates from Roland, etc.?
Thanks in advance for any help provided!
Aloha!
