samples from two or more cards

if i have samples on card A
numbered 1 through whatever

and i also have samples on card B
numbered 1 through whatever

can i load the samples from both cards into memory at the same time?

No, you cannot. You can only do this if the numbers are different, e.g. from 1 to 50 on card A and from 51 to 100 on card B.
